Confocal shift interferometry and spectral investigations on indirect excitons at low temperatures
von Jens ReppIn this thesis, the photoluminescence of indirect excitons is investigated at low temperatures. The spatial coherence properties of trapped indirect excitons are studied. To this end, a novel confocal shift interferometer is developed. Furthermore, the temporal-spectral dynamics of indirect excitons are explored. The experiments aim to gain insight into a regime where correlations between excitons can be expected and for which a Bose-Einstein condensate formed of excitons has been predicted.
