A LookSee Book

'A LookSee Book' is a dual side, Leporello bound, visual book crafted for the early development of babies. The foldable format allows the book to spread out and stand. The captivating images allow for babies to concentrate on their tummies. This helps with hand-eye coordination as well as strengthening trunk, neck and core muscles. But the book has a story to tell:

Side A features a series of high contrast, black & white illustrations, zooming in from the universe down to our earth and different life forms that inhabit it. The last illustration of baby's footprints symbolizes the impact we have on our planet, as well as the future that lies within our children. The image segues into the reverse side.
Side B is a collection of baby portraits that shows the diversity and uniqueness of humanity. The portraits display the various emotions and expressions we experience. Nestled within the portraits is a mirror, placed to allow the infant reader to see themselves among their peers, forging a sense of community, diversity and acceptance.
