GABRIELA ORAVOVA

Gabriela Oravova is an award-winning artist photographer, a Czech-Slovak born, based in Brussels, Belgium whose artworks have captured the interest of art collectors worldwide and have been exhibited in Europe and in the USA.
Her artwork is characterized by a poetic and a metaphysical meaning, often reflecting the literary knowledge related to her Master’s degree in Philology and Literatures. She has developed a strong interest in philosophy and spirituality.
Exploring the boundaries of an ordinary reality, she likes to challenge the idea of photography as a medium of real world, and at the same time discovering an illusionary alienation from the reality while revealing the infinite visions and possibilities; learning us to see the new ideas and insights, being comfortable with duality and ambiguity, to look at things and situations from different perspectives that an artistic creation can bring us as a result.
