In dem Jahr des 100-jährigen Bestehens des Hauses wurde die Siegmund Seligmann Stiftung 2006 ins Leben gerufen und damit auf Initiative von Professor Andor Izsák eine Institution gegründet, welche die Villa Seligmann zu einer prägenden Einrichtung in der Kulturlandschaft Niedersachsens machte. In 2006, on the 100th anniversary of its building, the Siegmund Seligmann Foundation was created on the initiative of Professor Andor Iszák, and this Foundation has turned the Villa Seligman into one of the leading cultural institutions in the state of Lower Saxony. Today the Villa Seligman is a unique gem, which bears extraordinary witness to the life of the aspiring Jewish upper-middle classes in Hanover and also presents in its intense and peerless concerts the beauty and richness of the great treasure of German-Jewish culture.
