The topic of this study is on the one hand the design theory of automotive
Googiedesign, with an objective attention to the automotive context and on
the other hand from the perspective of current conditions at the time of
writing this research paper. Accordingly, particular interest is devoted to the
central area of Central Europe in order to investigate the above-mentioned
topic on the basis of theoretical and global design principles. Interest is
focused on rudimentary patterns of thought and their foundations, such as
the sequence of intellectual backgrounds and international reception. The
present publication would like to welcome the given diversity and
democratic processes in particular, and on the other hand to systematically
ensure a selective concentration on the basis of stereotypical models. To
mention the question in advance: What is the basic definition of automotive
Googiedesign, which has been able to successfully focus on the public in the
USA by means of a café name published in a specialist journal, and what is
the special element of this aesthetic. Where are the more precise origins and
what is special about this design idea, in how far have consistent tendencies
followed, and at what point is its constant validity confirmed, if it exists?
