Photobiologische Wasserstoffproduktion in der Sahara

An unusual experiment is taking place in the dunes of the Sahara. Bacteria and algae are being cultivated in a desert bioreactor in order to produce solar hydrogen in a metabolic compound based on filamentous blue-green algae. The setting of the experiment entails the participation of sand and sun, nomads and gendarmes in this event. Thus scientific research unexpectedly becomes an adventure.
