The show must go on. Was im Showgeschäft gilt, gilt auch für die 2020er World Rally Championship. Als im März die Corona-Pandemie Europa erfasste, ging in Mexiko der dritte Lauf der Saison vorzeitig zu Ende. Mit dem gesamten Profisport wurde auch die Rallye-WM vorerst gestoppt. Comme l’ensemble du sport professionnel, le championnat du monde des rallyes a été stoppé. Il faudra attendre six mois avant que les pilotes du WRC ne retrouvent les spéciales, sur la terre du Rallye d’Estonie, nouveau venu au calendrier.
