Baumschlager-Eberle 2002-2007

Baumschlager-Eberle is a trademark for intelligent, economical and ecological solutions that are also remarkable for their sustainable formal qualities. At the core of Baumschlager-Eberle’s understanding of architecture lies the idea of approaching architecture as an integral task whose complexity is only resolved if the building meets all requirements such as constructive intelligence, ecological needs, economy and social acceptance. The book follows this approach and consists of three parts: In “Architecture”, 18 new projects the office completed are introduced in a classical manner with pictures, texts and plans. 'People' sheds light on the use of selected buildings and addresses the question of their social acceptance. 'Resources' researches the sustainability of all of the discussed projects.
