Max Baitinger was born in 1982 in Penzberg, Bavaria. He has been drawing comics since his training as a carpenter. He then studied illustration at the Leipzig Academy of Visual Arts. His comic book „Röhner“ was among the finalists for the
Comic Book Award of the Leibinger Stiftung 2016. His follow-up work „Sibylla“ (Reprodukt) was then awarded the same in 2020. Max Baitinger works as a freelance graphic artist on comics, illustrations and animated films.
