Learning Cocoa with Objective-C is intended for experienced C programmers who are interested in developing Objective-C-based Cocoa applications for Mac OS X. The book assumes a basic knowledge of, or previous experience with, the C programming language; knowledge of Objective-C is not mandatory, as the book will teach the reader the basic concepts of object-oriented programming. The reader should have a working Mac OS X system, the Developer Tools CD (or the ability to download the Developer Tools from the ADC Member site), and the desire to learn Cocoa.
