Approaches to Metaphony in the Languages of Italy

This volume presents current empirical and theoretical approaches to metaphony in the languages of Italy. Besides accurate descriptions of partly new data, the book features a wide variety of formal phonological analyses and evaluates their explanatory adequacy.
