Bonn, Jakarta und der Kalte Krieg

von Till Florian TömmelThe Cold War and German partition had global implications: among other things, they strongly shaped relations between West Germany and Indonesia during the 1950s and 60s. The mass killings of 1965–66 and General Suharto’s “new order” created a new set of circumstances, leading Bonn to react according to the logic of the Cold War.
