Nursing Informatics '91

The papers included in these proceedings of the Fourth In-
ternational         Conference on Nursing Use of Computers and In-
formation Science held in      Melbourne, Australia April 14-17,
1991 are a reflection on how nurses are   managing information
in every facet of health care, including health and      nursing
administration/management, nursing practice in hospital                  and
community nursing, nursing and patient education, and                           nur-
sing/informatics knowledge base and research. These procee-
dings   record the many issues associated with nursing infor-
matics and represent   the current developmental stages in
various countries,, including the         problems, solutions and
experiences encountered regarding computer usage, bynurses.
Many of the contributors are well known as leaders in                     this
field. This book is for those who wish to know about the la-
test   developments in nursing informatis, for those who wish
to identify trends   and issues, and for those who wish to
