Felix Nybergh mixes different photographic genres, documenting the various faces of Barcelona as a changing European metropolis. He approaches this city of millions from the perspective of immigration: architecture, flora and fauna, merchandise, behavior, religion and human inhabitants are all treated as results of immigration. In this way Nybergh questions the criteria by which we define who belongs to the city and who doesn’t, and thus develops a drama of hierarchies and contrasts.
