Organizations that want to maintain or even expand their competitiveness in this environment are consequently forced to subject their goals and their internal and external actions to continuous review with regard to sustainability. This book explores management practices and cross-organizational learning networks in the context of current issues of digitalization and sustainable business management. The first part highlights the evolution of the concept of sustainable business management and describes the current state and related concepts and management practices. This part also describes the development of digitalization and shows its influence on today's working world. The research contributions are described in the second part and address the questions about digitalization and its impact on organizations as well as the resulting requirements. In addition, various questions about management practices that impact aspects of corporate sustainability are examined. Another focus of the research is the examination of cross-company learning networks and their concepts. Finally, taking into account the research findings on digitalization and sustainable management, a further developed cross-company learning network concept is presented as an example.
