Analysis of Educational Policies in a Comparative Educational Perspective

This volume contains 16 articles from the Intensive Programme BIP (Analysis of Educational Policies in a Comparative Educational Perspective). The intention of this EU programme is to focus on Comparative Education and discuss latest developments, strategies and ways to improve and tune education in Europe. Most of the participants are doctoral students and staff members of the participating universi-ties who present their works within their field of research.
The main focus of the programme was on:

- Structures and characteristics of chosen European educational systems - Teacher education reform and educational development - Best practice examples in the field of education, etc.
BIP is part of the EUDORA (European Doctorate in Teaching and Teacher Education) programme. This is a consortium which developed a curriculum for a joint doctoral study programme. The presentations make visible the dramatic changes that take place in the educational sector in all European countries.
