Standard DWA-A 704E Operating Methods for Wastewater Analysis

In order to reduce the total analytic effort in the self-monitoring of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment systems, so-called operating methods were developed. By regulative measures, they allow to respond to operational requirements at short notice. The Standard at hand shows how personnel employed at a public or industrial wastewater system could apply the operating methods for self-monitoring reliably and safely. The objective is the standardization of the boundary conditions, systematic documentation of measurement results as well as quality assurance. By means of sample cards (IQC-Cards), filled-in examples of municipal and industrial wastewater systems as well as detailed descriptions, the Standard gives the user help with the implementation. The overall eleven IQC-Cards represent modules, which can be arranged individually depending on the requirements of the system concerned.
