Advisory Leaflet DWA-M 149-3E Conditions and Assessment of Drain and Sewer Systems Outside Buildings - Part 3: Condition Classification and Assessment
The Advisory Leaflet regulates the proceedings in the classification and assessment of the constructional/operational condition of drainage systems within thescope of the overall process of rehabilitation. This Advisory Leaflet, however, does not evaluate the hydraulic or environmentally relevant need for rehabilitation.
It only applies for gravity sewers and pipelines as well as manholes and inspection openings. A corresponding transfer of statements to other parts of drainage systems such as pressure pipelines and special structures is also possible if required.
The aim of the Advisory Leaflet is to illustrate the constructional/operational need for rehabilitation by taking priorities into account. To do so, a general chapter bindingly names the requirements of condition classification and assessment in form of essential prerequisites, fundamentals, working steps and result presentations irrespective of possible structures of models.
An informative Annex presents a possible assessment model as an example fulfilling the requirements given in the general chapter.
