4th iNTeg-Risk Conference 2012

As in the preceding years, the main purpose of the Conference was to provide a forum at which partners involved in the EU project iNTeg-Risk (“Early Recognition, Monitoring and Integrated Management of Emerging, New Technology Related, Risks”, openly and thoroughly discuss the results obtained so far in the project, both among themselves and with all other interested parties. This year, the Conference was focused on the presentation of the current iNTeg-Risk results: iNTeg-Risk early warning system RiskEars, emerging risk mapping (RiskAtlas of iNTeg-Risk), emerging risk management framework (iNTeg-Risk ERMF), methods and tools for emerging risk analysis. In addition, the topics of education in the area of risk engineering and management, joint activities with OECD and IRGC, and activities in the area of standardization including links to ISO 31000, CEN and DIN) were tackled.
