von Sabine BockIm Kontext zur Geschichte und der Agrarverfassung wird im zweiten Teil der Typologie der »Herrenhäuser im Ostseeraum« das idealtypische Aussehen der verschiedenen Formen der frühen Herrenhäuser rekonstruiert. Nicht einzelne Häuser werden vorgestellt, sondern repräsentative Collagen verschiedener Hausdetails aller Regionen des Ostseeraumes und seines Hinterlandes.
All jenen, die sich aus unterschiedlichen Gründen, sei es als Eigentümer, Bewohner, Restaurator, Architekt oder Besucher, mit einem Herrenhaus beschäftigen oder sich generell für Herrenhäuser interessieren, soll es möglich gemacht werden, einzelne Phänomene, Bauteile und -formen, Ausstattungen oder Raumtypen einer Entwicklungsstufe zuordnen zu können.
In context with the general history and the agricultural system, the second volume of the typology of »Manor Houses in the Baltic Sea Region« reconstructs the ideal-typical appearance of the different forms of the early manor houses. Not individual houses are presented, but representative collages of different house details of all areas of the Baltic Sea Region and its hinterland.
All those who, for various reasons, whether as owner, resident, restorer, architect or visitor, are concerned with a manor house or have a general interest in mansions, should be enabled to associate individual phenomena, components and forms, furnishings or room types with a stage of development
