Beiträge zur Islamischen Kunst und Archäologie

Volume 7 of „Beiträge zur Islamische Kunst und Archäologie“ (BIKA) brings together contributions from the 10th and 12th Colloquium of the Ernst Herzfeld Society. It focuses on reports on current research projects in the fields of Islamic art history and archaeology. The spectrum is broad in terms of topics, regions and time. It includes investigations into book art and painting, research into the history of architecture and archaeology, and contextualizing studies. Geographically, the contributions cover an area that extends from southern Arabia and Iraq to Iran and Italy.
