Recent Advances in Applied Signals, Systems and Image Processing

This is a unique book about recent advances in signal systems, imaging systems and multimedia. It brings together tutorials, extensive reviews of the state of the art, research proposals and international theoretical, methodological, systems engineering and applications experience on major aspects in the above disciplines. Although it offers a broad coverage of such subjects, it attempts to comprehensibly analyze the methods and systems presented. Regarding Signal Systems Recent Advances in Applied Signals, Systems and Image Processing focuses on adaptive filtering, while with respect to Imaging Systems the emphasis is put on both, low level image formation techniques and high level machine vision / multimedia content processing methodologies and systems.
