Florian Hoffmann ist Softwarearchitekt für GRC-Anwendungen (Governance, Risk and Complicance) von SAP. Sein Ziel ist es, die agile Entwicklung voranzutreiben, und in diesem Zuge arbeitet er stets daran, das Schreiben von Code effizienter zu gestalten. Zusammen mit Klaus Häuptle initiierte er den Clean-ABAP-Leitfaden auf GitHub, der dieses Werk ergänzt.

Florian Hoffmann ist Gründer von The DO, der globalen Plattform für eine neue Wirtschaft, die nachhaltig, innovativ und gerecht ist. The Do arbeitet international mit Sitz in Berlin, Hong Kong und New York. Das Weltwirtschaftsforum zeichnete Florian für seine Arbeit als einen von 100 Young Global Leaders unter vierzig aus. Florian sitzt im Aufsichtsrat des World Future Council, ist Fellow des Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards und Juror beim mit einer Million Dollar dotierten Global Teacher Prize. Er studierte an der Universität Oxford, der Duke University, Bard College und Humboldt Universität. Mit seiner Frau und seiner Tochter lebt er zur Zeit in Berlin.

Florian Hoffmann is the founder of The Do, a global platform for a new economy that is sustainable, innovative and fair. His mission is to empower people and companies to conceive and implement economic success and new solutions to today’s problems. The Do is based in Berlin, Hong Kong and New York. Florian was named one of the World Economic Forum’s 100 Young Global Leaders under 40. He is member of the board at the World Future Council, a Fellow of the Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards, and a judge for the $1m Global Teacher Prize. He studied at Oxford University, Duke University, Bard College and Humboldt Universität. Florian lives in Berlin with his wife and their daughter.

Florian Hoffmann is a software architect for governance, risk, and compliance applications at SAP. As an agile driver, he is constantly trying to make writing code more efficient. Together with Klaus Haeuptle, he started the Clean ABAP open source style guide that complements this book.
