Person Henna Räsänen

Henna Räsänen (FI) is a queer femme Berlin-based political comic artist, illustrator and event coordinator. Räsänen is an active member of feminist comic networks both in Finland and Germany, and has worked as an editor of two political comic anthologies, Sikala – Comics On Factory Farming and On The Way To Peace. Their comics have been published in a number of publications, such as the feminist magazine Tulva (FI), an.schläge (AT) and Imminent Rebellion (NZ), as well as participated in exhibitions – including SuperQueeroes – unsere Comic Held_innen -exhibition at Schwules Museum* in 2016. They host traveling practical comic workshops on queer norms and have kept a comic blog since 2008.
