Pat Walsh verbrachte ihre Kindheit in Westafrika und Irland, bevor ihre Familie nach Leicestershire zog. Bereits mit neun wollte sie Archäologin werden und ging drei Jahre später schon zu ihrer ersten Ausgrabung. Mittlerweile ist Pat Walsh studierte Archäologin und gräbt noch immer. Das Schreiben ist ihre andere große Leidenschaft. Und die Mythologie und der Reichtum der englischen Kultur und Geschichte sind ihre Inspiration. Pat Walsh lebt mit ihrem Mann in Bedfordshire und hat zwei erwachsene Söhne.

Dr. Pat Walsh is the author of a number of books and publications on World War One, including ‘Britain’s Great War on Turkey’. His special interest is the British State and its Foreign Policy in the early Twentieth Century. Dr. Walsh is also the author of books on Irish history and politics, particularly about the conflict in Northern Ireland. He received his PhD from Queen’s University, Belfast, and teaches Government and Politics, History and Geography.
