Scientific research as a perfect filter for generating wealth?

‘Knowledge’ is undoubtedly one of the most important ingredients for wealth of nations, corporations and individuals. Reliable knowledge requires filtering processes which are described in detail in Alvin and Heidi Toffler’s book ‘Revolutionary Wealth’ from the year 2007. One of these filters is embodied by science. The question arises whether science is really always helpful in finding the truth.
