Notes on Anatomy
von W Smithhe first and only edition was published in 1898, written by Dr. William Smith and Dr. C. L. Rider and became the first osteopathic anatomy textbook for the American School of Osteopathy. The book was a compilation of notes from various authorities in the field and has wonderful hand drawings of specific areas of study for the early students. This book was reproduced in its original form from an Edison Mimeograph machine and typewriter which did not permit a „proof-revision“. Overall, historically this book's value lies in its clear and concise description of anatomy for the early osteopathic student.
