Sie können nicht nur als Höhe- und Kulminationspunkt des brunianischen Œuvres insgesamt gelten, sondern zugleich als ein Werk, in dem sich wie in einem Brennspiegel Philosopheme des ausgehenden Mittelalters und der Frühen Neuzeit bündeln und in neue Konstellationen treten.
